Palestinian Patient Relief Fund

Every Patient Matters, Every Smile Counts

Why "Palestinian Patient Relief Fund"?

The negative repercussions of the events of October 7th have placed new responsibilities on our Palestinian community and imposed heavy burdens on our shoulders. In response, we established the Palestinian Patient Fund to help address the critical shortage of medical care affecting countless Palestinian families across the nation. The closure of crossing points into the interior of Palestine (the 1948 territories) has prevented many of the 150,000 Palestinian workers from reaching their jobs. Additionally, the establishment of over 900 barriers cutting through the cities and villages of the West Bank has caused unemployment to rise to unprecedented levels.

As a result, a growing number of Palestinian families are now unable to access even the most basic healthcare, including medical, psychological, and therapeutic services.

Main Objective

The Palestinian Patient Fund Relief Project aims to deliver comprehensive healthcare services for chronic diseases to marginalized populations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, with a focus on women, children, and the elderly. The project will provide field-based medical care, psychological and social support, and complete laboratory testing.

The project will rely on strategic partnerships with official state institutions and civil society organizations to establish a comprehensive database of patients who are unable to afford treatment or lack proper medical guidance.

In addition to the centers that will be established throughout the country, a wide network of doctors and specialists in medical, psychological, and social fields will be formed. This network will provide healthcare through regular field visits across various regions, focusing on delivering specialized medical consultations, assessing patients’ needs for medications, surgeries, and medical referrals, and offering free, comprehensive laboratory tests.

Project Summary

The primary goal of this project is to improve the quality of life for underserved and marginalized groups within Palestinian society by providing essential healthcare, medical, and psychological services in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The project aims to enhance access to appropriate treatment, thereby contributing to the overall health and well-being of the Palestinian community. This will be achieved through the establishment of healthcare centers and the deployment of a nationwide network of medical professionals across various specialties.

The project will specifically target elderly individuals, patients with chronic diseases, children, and women—particularly those suffering from chronic conditions—as well as any other individuals in urgent need of the services provided.
